The views from our room were absolutely breathtaking, with stunning scenery in every direction. We loved sitting on the terrace, taking in the beauty of the surroundings. the location was perfect, with Anita's seafood and an Italian restaurant within walking distance.
The noise level was quite high. We could hear our neighbors talking, using the bathroom, and walking around, which was a bit disruptive.

Located in a breathtaking setting with stunning views of the town and surrounding area, Rostad Retro Rorbuer is worth every penny. the rooms are cozy, comfortable, warm, and clean. the kitchen sets provided allow for easy cooking at home. there is a small hill behind the Rorbuer that offers a panoramic view of the town and a great spot for watching the sunrise and the northern lights.
Limited transportation options, especially in the off-season and without a car, can be a minor inconvenience for those wanting to explore the area more extensively.

It truly felt like a home away from home. As solo female travelers, we felt safe and taken care of throughout our stay. the views from the cottage were breathtaking and we even got to see the auroras faintly over the mountain top! the property was well-equipped for self-catering, with everything we needed in terms of crockery, a fridge, a dishwasher, and a kettle. the location was also great, with nearby restaurants and a short drive to a grocery store. Martha, the host, was incredibly gracious and kind. We miss it already and would definitely stay here again, maybe even with our parents. Thank you!
Nothing, it was perfect! 5/5 ⭐️.

Plus, the location is ideal with great restaurants nearby. I can't wait to come back and bring my parents!
I highly recommend this hotel.
